Charging & Remissions Policy

The Governors have agreed that a voluntary contribution may be requested towards the costs involved in providing enrichment activities for the children, both within school and outside of school and that should contributions not be forthcoming then such activities may not occur. Where funds permit, an allocation is made with the school budget to subsidise all or part of the costs of some activities or individual pupil costs.

We rely greatly on parent support for these activities and will endeavour to keep costs to a minimum.

Likewise, educational visits and visitors to Wheatlands School may be subsidised in whole or part from our school budget share or by the Friends group.
