Children in Need

As you may already know, Monday 12th November is the start of this year's BBC Children in Need appeal. Our school is excited to be participating in a fundraising programme which will take place during this week.

This year, Wheatlands School Council has decided the whole school should have a fancy dress day on Friday 16th November, where children are to dress up in their pyjamas/onesies. Your child might like to wear some clothes underneath them if the weather is cold. They may also wear any other Pudsey merchandise. We ask that children bring a donation to school for this worthwhile charity.

During the school day, a ‘bake off’ sale will take place in our school hall supervised by the School Councillors. In order to make this as successful as it was last year (and raise as much money as possible) we are asking for your support in providing cakes and biscuits for us to sell. All cakes will cost £1. If you would like to contribute, we please ask that these are brought to school on the morning of Friday 16th November to the front office, where the school councillors will collect them.

All donations will be hugely appreciated and will help to make our Children in Need day a huge success. Thank you for your continued support.
