Macmillan Coffee Morning

Macmillan Coffee Morning

We would like to take part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning event in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Having a Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a drink and something tasty to eat for a great cause. One in two of us will face cancer, and the money we raise will help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can.

Due to the logistics of such an event in school we are inviting each year group to come on a different day across a week. Each coffee morning will be held at 2:15pm (nursery's however will be at 10:00am) in the hall enabling you to take your child home when you've finished enjoying a drink with your child and other families. Unfortunately due to space only one adult will be able to attend per child.

Staff are donating cakes for the event but we are also asking that each child kindly brings in a cake donation on the morning of their year groups' event. Any cakes or biscuits will be greatly received, home made or shop bought!

There will be no set cost for refreshments, you are welcome to donate as much as you would like to. There will also be raffle tickets on sale to win various hamper prizes.

Please see below the date for your child's coffee morning (even though it's on an afternoon!). We really hope you can attend in order to raise as much as we can for such a worthwhile cause that sadly has, and continues to, effect so many families within our school community.
