School Council

Our School Council are a group of children within our school who are passionate, hardworking and determined to make our school and community the best it can possibly be.

Throughout the year, School Council work together, along with the classes they are representing, to think of different fundraising activities for our school to take part in to raise money. We have lots of exciting ideas this year on how we can spend the money we raise. We are thinking of a playtime box for each year group, new equipment for the playground, a colour run for us to take part in to celebrate the end of the school year and even a reading book vending machine!

Over the year, we also support different charities such as: Children In Need, Teesside Christmas Shoebox Appeal, Comic Relief and many more.

As well as raising money, we discuss any areas of the school that we may feel could be improved upon, any new initiatives that may be introduced and how to sustain the relationship between school and the community. We have introduced a kindness wall where people within our school can celebrate other people’s kindness. It certainly puts a smile of everyone’s face!

As a school, we are so proud to have these 11 passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated children as part of our School Council this year.
