Choir

Meet our wonderful Wheatlands Primary School Choir!

Our children rehearse every Wednesday after school, led by Mr Nixon a specialist music teacher. With additional rehearsals at lunch times with Mrs Nevens, when preparing for special performances.

In previous years Wheatlands Choir have represented the school, performing at the Royal Festival Hall and St Nicolas Church, in Guisborough.

This year our Choir are very excited to be involved in a Choir Festival and singing alongside their peers during whole school singing assemblies and main holiday celebrations in the hall!

In our Choir children are given the opportunity to sing a variety of genres, fluently and confidently. Either as an ensemble or soloist.

There is no audition to be a part of this group! All we look for is a passion for singing and a commitment to attend every rehearsal.

So, if you would like to be a part of our school Choir, talk to Mrs Nevens, who can tell you more about what is involved.
