Year 6 have the privilege of choosing House Captains. They were chosen by their peers through a democratic process. Each ‘applicant’ had to complete an outline of the qualities they believed would make them an effective leader of their House. Each House Captain aspires to be a positive role model for our younger children and are willing to give up their own time to carry out their duties. These duties include: collecting, tallying and presenting the weekly House Team totals, welcoming and showing visitors around the school and leading House Team meetings. They often take part in assemblies and carry out other duties as and when required.
Each House, named after James Cook’s famous ships, has 2 captains.
